I love Asheville even in traffic - well, sometimes not, but it's usually not too bad.

Curiosity killed the cat. I really didn't know what that meant until I had a cat. Cats have short term memory at best and think they can do anything. Kittens are even worse for sure. It's a joke around our house that we can't wait until our little kitten is an old fat cat that doesn't do anything but snuggle with us while we read!

When I was a kid I really loved Easter. Candy, for sure but I think it was more the weather. Springtime was emerging. The weather was usually sunny and bright. Flowers were blooming. I liked dying easter eggs on the patio with my siblings. My mom would always make hot crossed buns. The easter egg hunt usually ended with Mira finding the golden egg - or at least that's how I remember it. We had a lovely Easter morning this year with my brother and his family. While I couldn't really conjure up the magic of easter in my own being I got a glimpse of it through Satyana. Children always provide magic!
